Can anyone please tell me the best, most affordible barrel to upgrade my tippmann 98 custom??

if i were you, id go with a custom products barrel. I Have one, and its a real nice barrel, pretty quiet, straight shooting, and inexpensive. if you go to www.paintballcommand.com they have some custom products barrels for $38.95. a great deal on a great barrel.

Dude your never going to get a straight answer from us, everyone's going to say something different.
My suggestion is you do some research, pick three barrels out of the ones you researched, and then ask, "Out of the three barrels that I listed, pick one and give a reason." First, you have to list the barrels (obviously). And second, make sure you tell them not to say 'just buy it,' you need a better explanation.

I really like the 32* Whisper barrel, its ~50 bucks.
