Bko '04 Hopper?

Ok.. well I am thinking about getting a Bko '04. My setup right now Is a Tippmann with major ups. And I am wondering if a Richocate AK hopper hopper will be able to keep up with it. I have heard that u need a Eggy ll and what not, but I REALLY like the looks of the Richocate Hoppers. Also, I don't kno a bunch about the BKo '04 so I am also asking if the bko '04 can change Fireing mods. Like Semi to 3 shot burst to auto or what not.

Keep in mind I don't kno much about the bko '04 so no Flameing plz :eek:

I just bought a 04 BKO and the Empire REloader that I have keeps up, but not if I really try to rip, but I don;t do that very often.

It should keep up as long as you dont try to go full out and reach the max of the gun. But just to be on the safe side, I would go with an Evolution 2

the board is not adjustable like 3 burst and auto.. eggy is fine and a richochet will be fine as well.

the stock 04 BKO is semi only. keep in mind most higher-end guns are semi only (maybe with a little bounce...:| )

A fast hopper is really needed to see the full potential of the BKO. A Halo is best of course. But if you are that attatched to Ricochets, check out the price on the Apaches that Dan Voils is selling. www.dbnpaintball.com (I know the site looks ghetto, but this dude is awesome. He used to be one of the main techs at AKA, you can definately feel comfortable buying from him).

When I bought my B2K3, I had been using a Tippy with a Rico AK. Put the AK on my B2K3 (Halo hadn't arrived in the mail yet), try to walk the trigger for the first time, and it chops after about 3 shots. Not good. A new hopper is kind of a must. I couldn't play a game with my gun because I accidentally shot too fast for it even with one finger sometimes.

What he ^ said. Halo is best. Egg Z-board would keep up pretty well too. Remember to mod your detent.

Everyone says that at least a Halo B or Reloader B is needed, but today I was watching the World Cup, and for the 10 man teams, all the top teams, Justice, Atomix, Rage, and...Some other team, all of them had Eggs, two teams were using Timmies, one was using e-bladed Cockers and Angels, and the other was using DM4s. If an Egg can keep up with those, you dont need anything more than an Egg for a BKO.

With a BKO, a fast hopper is not only nessesary to feed your gun faster, but it is also nessesary to prevents chops since the BKO is blind.

I'm not really wanting to push the full potential of the gun... Hell I don't even have it yet :eyes: I am just wanting a gun that has alot more potential(sp?) than a tippmann. And the bko's juz look so tight.

Well if you don't even have the gun yet then why don't you wait for the new 05 BKO? It'll come stock with PDS, so you would be able to use your AK without chopping nearly as much.

if you wait for the 05bko then definately get an eggy or a halo. with pds that thing is gonna fly.

It wont go any faster than the 2004 BKO, but you just wont have to worry about shootin like crazy and chopping.

how fast does your richocate hopper feed? but if u get the 05 bko then just keep ur hopper u have now

I played pb today with a kid who had a PDS B2K3 and he was using a Revy cause his normal hopper (either Egg or Halo, forget which) was out of commission. Anyway, with PDS he didn't chop a single time even though he was using a Chaos board, and illegally had it on auto-response half the time for some reason. So thats just a testament to the reliability of PDS.

So if you get the 05 BKO, you could keep the hopper you have now. It may not allow the gun to go very fast, but with PDS at least you know you won't chop.

But with the 04 BKO, I'd really recommend an Egg at least.

When is the new bko 05 commin out? If some1 knows
And is there a Price tag on it yet?
