I recently bought a Zenitram straight trigger for my tes. I installed it just like I thought I should; took out the old trigger and use loctite on the little cross piece to hold the trigger in. Now I have a TES that wont fire and a trigger that doesnt have any assisted movement forward. What did I do? Its like the pivot point is way to difficult and I did something horribly wrong. Does anyone know what I should do?

pound the pin back off, and get all of the loctite off. you will need to get ALL of the loctite off of the pin, and from the inside of the hole in the trigger (sounds like you got a little in there, enough to keep the trigger from moving freely) and when you put the pin back in, dont use any loctite - it shouldnt need it

worked; except.........the trigger won't go back after firing. There is no spring, etc, and I'm not extremely familiar with these guns. What makes the trigger go back after firing?

You can drill a hole in you trigger and put a little spring from a pen in it and glue it down. The but of the spring will rest against the switch (just the body not the actual sensor). You can cut the spring accordingly to the amount of pressure you want.

Then there is always the magnet mod.

the whole trigger should move very easily and the switch should push it back out by itself, there shouldnt be a need for any other force to push on it

Maybe i read it wrong. I though he was describing bounce from a lighter switch. I though maybe when he got a new trigger he got a new switch also??. Anyway, srry.

Well, maybe I screwed something up, because it definitely doesn't go back through the power of the switch. I might try the magnet mod. How does the stock trigger go back?

Yeah, sorry, I do have a 50g trigger switch.

Have you adjusted the trigger since you got the gun.Try loosening it a little. It might be too tight.

I have tried both the spring mod and the magnet mod. Both are not on pbn anymore (the original, at least). Magnet mod takes longer and cost more 4-8$ total. Eather works to eliminate your bounce problem.

OK, new bad situation. I got the trigger to work w/out any mods; very small pull, microswitch pushes it back. Unfortuantely, when I shoot (co2) it sounds like 10 shots and it shoots one and the BOLT popped off. The bolt was completely on and attatched and it popped off the back. It was the weirdest thing I've ever seen. This gun is starting to get frustrating. Should I just bring it to the spyder expert at the local shop and see what he can do?

sounds like your bolt pin was loose, so when you fired the bolt pin slipped out of the striker letting the bolt fly out the back

tighten the screw on the back of the bolt

as for the " it sounds like 10 shots" are you shooting it with paint? what pressure are you running at, are you using a spring kit or not?

Yeah, I'm shooting with paint, but whenever I pull the trigger it sounds like at least 5 or 6 shots of co2 being let out ridiculously fast and only one ball shoots.

Does it then uncock. If it doesnt, then you have major "bounce" problems. If it does uncock then listen to tesabller.

Crap. It doesn't uncock. No, I dont have a spring kit either.

then you have crazy bounce problems. You either should remove you 50g switch, do magnet mod or spring mod.

Everybody has this problem, when you put a lighter switch in.

I'm liking the sound of the magnet mod. What are those little magnets at RadioShack called? Earth Magnets? And to tell the truth, when I bought the gun off of eBay, the auction mentioned that he was throwing in the 'ever popular micro switch'. I'm not 100 percent sure that it's on there. The magnet mod still sounds like fun though. I think I'm gonna go for that.

Allright, good choice. And yes, they are called "rare earth magnets"

goodluck and have fun.

I couldn't get the rare earth magnets, my radioshack is too ghetto. I used the pen spring mod and it seemed fine. When I shot it, however, the bolt came back and forth a million times and the shot counter said six when I shot one. I'm definitely playing tomorrow with my backup purple model 98 and we are playing SPEEDBALL, I am gonna get raped. I guess that I'll send the gun in to whoever. Any other suggestions?
