ok, recently went to a local paintball store and was going to buy a a-5 or 98c. well i have been thier before and asked the guy some questions and then found out that his answers were wrong. i think that he just wanted to sell me stuff. anyway can you use HPA on a stock A-5 or 98c? or do you have to do upgrades?

Yes, you can run them off of a preset nitro tank.

any high pressure screw-in tank can be used on either marker. you can also buy hose adapters and a cradle if you want to use a tank that does not screw in to your ASA.

You can use HPA w/ a stock 98 but it isn't very efficient. You'll shoot up a tank real fast at 800+ psi.
