When you fire the gun w/ no paint and no air, just so it clicks and the light flashes.
Is that bad for the gun?

nope, that is just an old wives tale It jurts nothing except the amount of air in your tank, it drops with every shot, just like with normal firing

im talking about when no air is in or anything.

i mean if there is no air or no balls or whatever you said you were doing by pulling the trigger just means your pulling the trigger i mean correct me if im wrong peps:D :) ;)

The gun is on so it wastes battery....but i was wondering if it was bad for the soleniod or something.

It does make the solenoid work when you do that. Meaning more wear on those TINY solenoid orings.
