View Full Version : What barrel should I invest in?

I have a 98 and I need a new barrel. My paint flies anywhere but where I want. Helpl me out! Recommendations?

Well it depends on how much you want to spend. If around 40 there's the teardrop, J&J ceramic, and the cp one peice classic.
However I was reading a lot of reviews on the pmi razzor barrel and lots of people who have that on there 98 love it. Thats about 20 to 25 bucks. (Just make sure to get a good paint to barrel bore size match) if you don't know the bore size check the stickies

it really depends on how much you want to spend. if you want a top of the line barrel that will always give you a perfect paint-barrel match no matter what paint you use, then you'd need a kit.

if you just want an all around less expensive barrel that's still good, then consider cheesy's advice on the j&j ceramic or CP one piece. a few others to consider in that price range are the Dye Xcel and the Lapco Bigshot.

but yeah.. just read the stickies and you'll find a comparison of every barrel you might consider.

ultralite i have one for my 98 custom and have never broken a ball and this thing won't dissapoint u believe me i just bought another one for my autococker.:love:
