im starting a team with my friends and im looking for sponsors to make our lives somewhat easier in anyway! so i was wondering what does your sponsor do for u? and what do you have to do for it? and how did you go about getting that sponsor? my team is mainly for speedball type games but we still like to play rec ball.

and if perhaps you are interested in sponsoring a 3 man team (rookie-ish or level above level) please email.
(just put that in for hopes sake)

thanx

most of the time the sponsor does not want you to talk about details of the sponsorship.

and its not that easy to get a sponsorship by just doing "good' in a couple of tournys, you need to impress the person that you want to sponsor you, by being a good sport, helpful to beginners and so on. look for small sponsorship first like a local field dont try and get JT to sponsor you just because you won a 3 man rookie event. its a give and get relationship.

Ditto on the sponsors not wanting you to give details. Let's just say Extreme Rage does things we really appreciate :D And to make them happy, we wear their packs, which many of us do anyway, since the packs are so good anyhow (shameless plug, but true).

Anyhow, sponsors look for 2 things. Playing lots of tournaments, and doing well in those tournaments. They want to know that you'll be out playing the tournaments getting their product name out. They also want you to do well. Playing bigger tournaments, like Skyball, or any pan am or NPPL events also carries alot of weight in getting sponsors. Most will want you to have a team banner however, and some will require you to put their company logo on your jerseys (as Extreme Rage does).
