It looks pretty sweet to me, Soon I'll be in the market for a high-end gun and I want to see how everyone thinks it will compare to other guns.

I too just entered the market for higer-end guns. Its basically gonna come down to the ion vs. the BKO 05. The bko is going to be the ions main competition even though the bko is several dollars more.

The terms of service on this forum state that "Gun A vs. Gun B" threads will not be tolerated. The simplest way to find what gun you may like compared to another is to go to the reviews on....?pbreview.com (http://www.pbreview.com) :rolleyes: If you want, you could actually show, non-biasedly the pro's and con's of each marker that you feel the Ion is in the market with. That might not get this thread closed.

I am fully aware of the rules to the site, but however it is a new gun, with barely a review out there, and I and probably some other people would like to know what it compares to. Sure I could look up all the tech info on different guns (and I have), but that doesn't mean the stuff on it works great, and I think there's too much hype about it now for anyone to write an unbiased quality review (except rcx's). And reviews are about how the gun performs, not compared to other things.

Well, that's what I'm trying to tell you. Look up tech stuff, list. Also list performance on field, not only of the Ion, but other markers as well in an unbiased (as unbiased as you can make it) mini-review. For example, if you have played with a 2k4 Bushy with PDS, list first the tech pro's and con's of it and then give a small review of how it did on the field; consistency, accuracy, speed, quick-stripping or lack there of, etc. It could turn into a good, informative thread

Give the guy a break. That rule really needs to be taken out anyway. I've seen that the vs threads bring out the best information on guns and can be even more helpful than reviews.
