I am having a problem with my 68 carbine. It has a expansion chamber. When i plug my CO2 tank in the CO2 shoots out of barrel. Could it be that my gas line to the expansion chamber is thicker than the gas line from the expansion chamber to the gun?

Any other ideas would be helpful since i spent about 200 to upgrade this gun.

I have had this exact problem on a spyder before. The problem was that the valve got stuck open. That happened after it chopped a whole lot after a game. I am sure that the tippmann valves are better than the spyder valves, but maybe you have the same problem. Try and clean the valve.

i think i figured it out but i dont know how to fix it. I took out the valve and found like 2 strings on the bolt that were broken- I have a pic here

When I read that you said "strings" I was wondering what the heck you were talking about. Seeing most definitely is believing.

Where'd you get this carbine? Had it forever? Used? That's really odd to me.

Try replacing them with O-rings I guess. Or, if they are the riht type of string you could try and melt the ends together with a lighter.

Ive never seen string like that on any valve for any marker. the 68 carbine is no exeption to that. Im guessing it was owned by someone else... try replaceing them with fat o-rings or ordering the part directly from tippmann, though they might not have anything for the 68carbine. Im guessing the string was used as a juryrigged o-ring.
