it will cycle, but you will only be able to shoot 3 - 4 bps, if you shoot beyond that, each shot will be slower and slower (velocity wise) and this is very undesireable.

just sell your LP tank and buy a HP one.

for LP guns you want your tank to put out about 200psi more than your marker uses (inline reg will get the pressure to opperating pressure) to avoid shoot-down. because a 98C, even with a LP kit shoots above 400psi, you will want a tank that outputs at least 600-650 minimum. as far as preset tanks go, that means High pressure output.
