I'm not really sure what happened. I have a WDP mini Reg and as I was taking the tank off of the gun, all of the air left in my tank started spraying out of a holr in the regulator. There are other holes like this one in the regulator, and they seem to have a black covering that this hole does not have. Whenever I gass my gun up now, the air shoots out of this hole. What could have caused this, and how do I go about fixing it?

is it a high or low pressure tank?

Gonna sound n00bish, but how do I tell. It's a Nitro Duck 68/3000.

Well, if I remember it correctly all nitro duck tanks that aren't 4500 psi are high. Can't seem to remember any low pressure 3000 psi tanks.

I played an entire day and degassed my gun quite a few times before this happened. I can;t remember doing anything different this time. Could it perhaps be a burst disk. I don;t really know what these are and if they are even in a regulator, but from what I have heard abou tthem they could fit this situation.

No, the burst disk is located in your tank. Take your gun to a local angel tech or send it to a MT. Don't go fooling around with the reg if you're not sure about it.

sounds to me like some sort of overpressure releif (perhaps a burst disk)...

why don't you take the reg appart and see what it is?

how long did you run that tank with that reg before this happen (how many times)?

I ran it all day, I probly gassed and degassed the gun like 4 or 5 times before this happened. I have a friend who knows his way around this kinda crud. I'll have him take a look at it. I also wouldn't know how to take the reg apart, it looks like one solid peice.

they had to put it together somehow, so there is always a way to take it appart.

i think the tank input pressure was your issue. you NEED to run a LP output tank on a minireg. :|
