I have a Vert reg imp with a VFF and a blade. I use a 20 oz CO2 with an anti syphon and an on/off. My problem is that after i shoot around 600-700 rounds my pressure drops from 180 to around 150. Also, the paintballs basically drop out of my barrel, only going 10-20 feet. I took the reg apart and cleaned it and i cleaned out my whole gun. It still did it. Also, its not because i'm out of air. I had enough air left to shoot about 300 rounds through my back up Tippmann M98. My friend has a stock Imp and has the exact same problem. I re filled my CO2 and everything worked ok. Does anybody know whats wrong.

If you are getting a pressure drop, this would be a Reg problem. Frankly I have never seen this-- normaly its goes the other way. that is when the o-ring in the piston goes bad, youu set the pressure for 150 and shoot -its fine, but you let it sit for a while and the pressure starts to climb In a short time (5-10 min) it may climb to 180-190. first time you shoot the gun, the pressure drops back to 150.
the "cure" for the problem above is to simply replace the very small o-ring in the reg piston. most of the time this will fix the problem.
However, your gun should still be shooting at around 250 fps at 150 psi if the dwell is set right. I would suggeat you read the sectionon setting the dwell in your manuel and adjust it so you are getting about 280 fps at 180 psi.
One other thing you migh what to look at--- doese your gauge read "0" when it has no pressure? I 'm wondering if maybe your gauge might be damaged and you realy aren't getting "150" when you are set at 150.
I would replace that o-ring (they often get hard in CO2 guns when fokes point the gun down at the ground and fire a bunch of shots) grease it up real good, and set the dwell to the 180/280 setting and see if your problem dosn't go away.
