Nice gun. Why didnt you get a red mac cover? Maybe they were out I didnt get a 68 red either.

I think macdev knew i was going for the red and black look .. So they gave me a red one.. They are really NICE tank covers!! They are neoprene and quality made.. Way better than I was expecting. Yah anyway i like the red w/ black highlights look .. It looks nice IMO :)

Yah I have the Lok Soks over the neoprene cause the macdev neoprene cover slips on my shoulder some .. And the Lok Soks make as a very nice grip and it holds securely on my shoulder.

They don't stay on that well tho :( .. They tend to slide off every now and then. Any ideas how i keep them on there? :confused:

ya the lok soks keep the gun very steady and stable on your shoulder, i just got some yesterday for my tank . . . i think they were made to be be stuck straigh on the bottle which is why they probably slip off . . .


i got a question, what is that gun operating at? like whats the inline reg set at?

Yumy stuff, very nice. Judging by just how much the sonic frame made my bushy feel nicer, i might pick one of these babys up at the IAO 2002. But i'd get the CP lightning. Good luck with it, not that you'll need it.:love:

Haha thx rich. I think macdev may have only had the CP Flame DF's in, but I'm not postitive. I like the CP Flame anyway :)

Well the operating pressure is around 180psi. I have the Gladiator inline set to about 200psi. I have the output on the Conquest 350-400psi. I think right now its right inbetween there at about 375psi. :)

i would have thought it would be lower, dont they come with r.e.d. valves?? i have my glad set at about 200 too . . . :eyes:

Well Venom that is what is recommended from MacDev .. But i like a less kick on my gun, so i set everything lower .. Enless i really want to rip on the trigger, than i set the LPR a little higher so the valve will stay open longer.. But usually, i have the LPR set lower so I have less kick.

Yes they come w/ RED valves.

It is a pricey setup, but i will not need to add anything to it. Only upgrade for my setup I'll get is probalby a TurboRev .. I got this setup a lot cheaper than what it really costs though. :)

I like to set my lpr a little lower too for less kick even if I have to raise the operating pressure a little. On my defiant Im selling I turned up so it will cycle the 20BPS so they will be impressed.

July: I wanted a black mac cover becuase i was gonna get black lok soks anyway, so i thought it would look best like that. Plus I am going for the red/black scheme.. it looks good cause the conquest is annoed red but it also has black highlights (fill nipple, etc.) I like the scheme.. mayb macdev was out of red, but i wanted black anyway so i asked for a black one.

Rich: On the gun in the pictures it is a 10" CP tip, but i have all four tips (10", 12", 14", 16") and all bore sizes (0.683, 0.685, 0.689, 0.693, 0.695)

Ok. The red is reversable, one side red one side black, I wish the blue ones were like that too.

Mines all black. I was still impressed w/ the quality tho. I thought they were gonna be cheap, velcro..but they are a quality neoprene w/ elastic that streches on the neck. Good job, MD.

Owell, i don't think it woulda looked good w/ a red cover anyway. I also got a black conquest.. which makes it tournament legal in the states and in europe, australia, etc. Not that I'll play there.. but o well.. extra 15$ in value :) The clear bottles look so much better tho cause you can see the fiber wrapping.
