I have a question for anyone who knows about spyders. Every time I screw a CO2 tank into mine, I can hear air coming out of the barrel, even with the gun cocked. I disassembled the gun and checked the valve O-rings, as well as the expansion chamber O-rings (I have an SE model), and they appear to be just fine. Could somebody please help me out as to what is wrong? I would greatly appreciate any help.

i have an se and that happened to me two weeks ago when i filled my tank. I was a mile from the store and heard air. I took it back to the store and they said there was soemthing wrong with the co2 cannister. They needed to take it appart and fix it. It only took about 3 minutes and cost 4 bucks, and they refilled my co2. dont try it yourslef though. Go to any store that fills it and get it fixed. If thats not it and its teh gun, i have no idea, but let me no what it is when you fix it in case it happens to mine!

sounds like a bad cup seal..get a new one.and it should be fine...(psssttt.....get a lapco cup seal...and it should never leak again..it's alittle softer plastic...)

Sorry but it's not any Oring Problem. It's either that your Co2 is low, or that you have a cupseal/valve problem. Just fill up your Co2 tank, change your cup seal. BUT if its' your valve that's leaking, you need to get a new valve... they are very sensitive, and if one scratch gets on it, it is ruined..

Well thanks everybody for the replies, I'll have the cup seal checked out and refill my CO2 also. Now that I think about it, the tank was getting pretty low. I'll let you know what fixes the problem for any future references anyone may need. Once again thanks for the help.

I bet that it's either both valve o-rings are a bit messed, or the cup seal is nicked or somethin' like that. As for a cup seal choice, go with the Black Magic Cup Seal, or the Lapco Cup Seal. I'd personally go with the Black Magic, for the reason that it can even seal at -40*F or C, can't remember...
