ok long story short i got a 16 inch barrel instead of a 14 inch barrel, now should i go to the trouble to send it back or should i just keep it? and how much of a performance difference will it make?

i would send it back and get a 14 inch. 16 inch is too long, it only causes more friction and slows the balls down. it doen't help with how straight the paintball goes either....the longer the barrel the more gas u waste also. so send it back and get the 14 inch. later

personally i think keep the 16 incher.....it will give nice accuracy and if you got nitrous or like a 20 ounce co2 you should be good

but now for myself.....i got a 14 inch barrel smart parts tear drop barrel and i was wondering.....its okay and pretty descent

ah idk if its that big of a deal to you send it back if not just keep it. If u playing woodsball keep it.
I dont see how it takes more air to get the ball out of the barrel when the ball is going to travel the same distance with or with out the extra 2 inches and ur gun will shot the same amount of air or about the same amount every shot

I don't think 2 inches warrants putting forth the effort. The difference in performance is virtually unnoticable.

i abide by the "12- 16 in. rule." its technically not over 16 inches, just keep it.
