I've seen a few (2004)Freestyles without sideplates. How is this done? Is it like...removing screws or something?

I haven't been here in a REALLY long time. I've been working my bottom off for either a Freestyle, Shocker, or A4.
Of course the Freestyle is at the top of my list (best eyes of the three, tiny). I'm super excited, because I have $604.86,yay! So, just curious about the sideplates. Any tips on the Freestyle=welcome!

yeah, some ppl didnt like the sideplates on the 2004 Freestyles. They are just attatched to the body with a couple screws, so take out the screws and no more sideplates! most ppl cover up the screw holes with stickers.
