That's what I was thinking, but the only I've actually played around with is the bolt

I only have an F4 TP but when I switched bolts mine was leaking down the barrel too. I don't know if your Mav is the same as mine but I replaced the o-rings on the bolt and everything was fine.
Later and good luck.

Nope I know it's not the bolt cause I just removed the valve and attached the Co2 and that is where it's leaking

do you cock it before you engage the co2 ?that causes it to leak down the barrel

Hi guys,
If you tighten everything and make sure that everyhting has teflon tape and it still leaks then ---------
Down the barrel is cup seal - usually needs to be replaced
Farting is the Hammer (striker) O-ring

-not replace it.
Bolt O-rings are buffers and dont seal.
good Luck
Have you tried firing a few(dry shots)? My F4 will leak slowly if it's just been cleaned. A few shots will fix the leak for me.

Are any of the seals damaged?

Hey guys,
Leaking down the barrel is ususally caused by the cup seal assembly, located in the area below the barrel or behind the Low Pressure Chamber (under the barrel). Its white in color and some times you can resurface (rub in a circular motion on a sheet of typing paper or 800 grit sandpaper, until smooth) the face that makes contact to the valve or just replace it.
Be careful not to loose the little star washer (spring guide), its very important as a spacer.
Making sure the gun is tight is great but also make sure its well lubricated.
Good Luck

This case could be considered closed but for future reference, be sure you morons know what you are talking about before you go spoutin off a whole bunch of BS. Reply after reply came back showing that half of you know nothing about the Maverick or that you were even dealing with a pump class gun! Talkin about LP chambers and crap, LOL.
