Hey guys.

I have a Dye Ultralite on my 98 custom. Well today, it was about 40 degrees, with some wind, and snow on the ground. Me especially, and the rest of my friends were all breaking balls in their barrels. But me the most. When I took my barrel in and warmed it up, it shot fine, until 30 minutes of being out....I was using RPS Marbs...Is the cold the blame here?

Thanks

The cold probably just made your balls brittle, nothing wrong with your barrel.

Ok. I was thinking more along the lines that the cold would make the barrel "contract" alittle therefore making the bore alittle smaller. But I think you're right too.

Aluminum isn't going to contract in 40* weather.

i think the cold affected the balls.

try some of that Draxxus arctic inferno paint or that other Polar kind RPS makes. that may solve your problem.

Yeah. The shells are brittle. I just looked at my paintballs in them and not one doesn't have a dimple or two on them. Some even crack when I put the littlest pressure on them...Problem solved, thanks guys:D

Weather can cause expansion and contraction of the paint...unless you were using old []Daint
