I have a couple questions and would be thankfull if there answered.:)

What is the Max velocity on stock Tippmann 98 custom?

Is there anyway to set a proper velocity without a crono, without math?

I dont have a crono and dont want to have a over done velocity

No there truely is no way to test your velocity without a chrono.
You can try just judging it by eye, but that can be dangerous.

My suggestion is to get in with a couple friends of yours that play, and split the cost of it. You can get a pretty accurate hand-held chrono for about $80-$90.

Thats what i did, and it was well-worth the investment.

What Im wondering if theres any way I can just look at the screw and tell. like someone that has the proper adjustment tell me how many turns to turn the screw out. that would work if someone has a stock Tippmann 98 custom.

Well to answer your very first question, as far as max velocity, Ive been able to peak out my velocity on my M98 at over 390 FPS at the chrono station of my local field.

As a rule of thumb, screwing your velocity screw all the way in, and then giving it a full turn and a half out will leave you at a velocity somewhere in the neighborhood of 250 FPS (which is great for speedball).
I play woodsball, and if you do, try another half turn out.

But Please: DO NOT HOLD ME TO THIS !!

I use a Full boar w/ RVA, so my adjustments might somewhat differ from yours.
