I am getting a BKO and i am also going to buy a Evlution 2 from viewloader and i was wondering how it feeds? Do i have to turn on a switch to activate it or what because i have some cheap hopper that the blade inside only spins if i hit the switch and i have to push the switch down to stop the blade so how does the Evlution feed with the agitated loader part?

You turn on the Evolution 2 and it then feeds balls only when it "sees" a gap in the feedneck. It won't spin all the time, just when it is needed to feed your marker. The Evolution 2 will work great with your BKO. I use an Evolution 2 on my Impulse with no problems.

Ok thanks, i decided on getting the Egg 2 becuase i heard great things about it and i was wondering when it is on is it still draining the batteries or only when the blade spins?

How many batteries and what kind of batteries does the egg 2 take i think it is 9v's but im not sure so im asking and also would it be easier for me to buy the new maha charger for 9v's so i dont have to shell out $7.50 every time i need new batteries.

Technically anytime something is on you are draining the battery, its just super slow. The main drain only comes when the blades spin. I've had the same set of batteries in my Evo for about 6 months and at least 20 cases of paint.

Two 9v batteries, and I just slapped in the cheapest 9vs I could find at the time.

ok thanks and i just looked at pictures of the Evolution 2 and it looks like the lid open's downward instead of popping up like most hoppers so my question is how does the lid open?

P.S: Sry about being such a hassle, i just want to find out as much about this hopper before i decide on buying it.

Its not a problem, I enjoy helping people out.

The lid does open downwards. Thats the biggest gripe I have with them, it takes time to adjust to them. The lid has a catch on it so it will stay open and with practice it is possible to learn to reload while shooting but its harder to do then on say a Halo. The one good thing about the design is I have never had my lid pop open after a hard slide into a bunker.

Yeh i guess once i get mine i am gonna practice opening and dumping my pod in until i get used to it but even if im not used to it im still gonna get it because i really dont feel liek shelling out an extra $50 for a halo b when the evo 2 feeds like 3 balls less and holds 30 balls more then a halo.

I like the lid. It acts like a cup so you dont spill as many paintballs hwen filling up quickly with pods. The springs make it tough to reload with, so I took em out and it works great.

i had problems with my lid but was a very very easy fix and basiclly no cost. It was a bit hard to open so i duct taped the part that it catches on when it snaps closed so now it doesn't snap and since it is spring loaded it stays closed;)

The evo II has a fast enough feed rate for anyone who plays rec paintball.

They're great loaders but the only problem (as with most Viewloader products) is that the shells are waaaay too brittle. I've broken more lids, shells, necks, etc. than I care to think about it. I've always liked mine though.
