Now the site is updated and is now selling J&J Pro1 14" Spyder Barrel for the same price!
At www.firstcallpaintball.com

No, it's not a newer version, it's an entirely different barrel as the Pro-1 is not made from ceramic.

I haven't used the ceramic, but I really like the Pro-1. I'd assume though that the performance of the barrels is similar, so don't despair.;)

no man pro1 just sounds so much cooler so it definitely is

pro1 = professional #1 barrel......duh :rolleyes:

ceramic = weak and breakable barrel

so you see. they tricked me into buyin a ceramics barrel.

How do you know that the pro doesn't actaully stand for 'prom queen?'
:P

If it matters that much to you, I believe some online stores will give you a refund provided you never used it. Give whoever you bought it from an email.

mine has all these scratch marks on it. And when i touch it. Theres all these fingerprints and oil on the gun.
Scratches like.......circular scratches going up and down. Is that normal?
The inside looks really shiny and reflective.

well thats a bad thing... since the ceramic is made so if you chop a ball the next ball SHOULD clean out your barrel enough to where you wont need to use a squeegee. wroks for me, and scratches on the barrel, well who really cares, as long as it aint on the iinside right

As long as the inside is scracth free, it doesn't really matter beyond aesthetics.
