Sounds like you're in the $1000 range, and if that's the case, you can do a lot better for your money. If those are used, list specs of both to tell which is better. But both base markers, I'd say ECX is better because it has eyes stock.

im in the 750 range....
A4 is 750
Ecx is 750

Angel all the way they rock way more than a timmy theyäre faster and so many things. it detects if u have force feed agitate or gravity so it automatically slows down the shooting speed + it has eyes

It also automatically adjusts to any ROF, except it's a much more reliable way than that of the Angel.

And with the 2k5 BL frames and Infamous board out now, Timmy's are in their prime.

Used Timmy, with tons of up's. They go for pretty cheap, compared to what was spent on them...

Or, Ion + Halo + HPA + nice barrel + TONS of leftover money for paint. :)

http://www.pbreview.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=293917 Wow, a video that doesn't work. That's great. I don't need to watch any videos of an Ion, i've seen one in person, shot one, it isn't anything special, not compared to a high end marker at least.

Common Timmy vs. Angel:rolleyes:

Get a Brass Eagle gun they are SO much better..........LOL:laugh: J/K dont flame. Its true timmy's are at their prime. You can't go wrong with either. If all else fails flip a coin.

I definately agree, I like angels but they are way to hard to clean and put back together IMO. Get the timmy.

Not really. All you really need to do is swab out the bolt chamber and you're good to go. Every 15 cases, some grease would be nice.

lol pants i already taled to you;)

f2f4 yes
a stock timmy like a 2k2 can only go 22cps

throw some ups on it and u can get it to 26cps

new timmys with the newer noids can get 28+

but still this is no where compared to like egos newer angels, and the like.

heck a spyder with a huge volumizer can cycle 60cps+

To get back to this question. I own both and neither are hard to maintain or clean after use. The whole discussion of CPS is really fruitless in the real world. I believe RG Mekanic is the only person I have run across who may really worry about capping out top rates of fire (or at least who I believe when talking about MROF legally).

Pick the one you like the feel of. If you have this kind of money to invest, it better be one that you love regardless of what anyone else thinks. I keep telling myself to quit coming into these debates, I wish I would listen to my own advice.:eyes:

Blacklight - Just remember, the faster the cycling, the more the kick.

F=MA ;)

Reason most 'Trixes have no kick? It's because they only cycle at 24-26 stock. OMGZORSXGGS!!1! Thats like teh toooo slow mann!!

Ironically enough, I still plan to polish my bolt & spool to reduce the sliding resistance. Now, you may say that this will raise my kick, since my bolt will be cycling faster. But what will really happen is that I will be able to lower my LPR pressure even more...
