sights suck, dont waist ur money on a site
in a fast action paintball game you are never gonne use a site
the only time you will is to spot someone if ur playing in the woods or something

In my opinion, this is a prime example of when copying doesn't work. Pro-Team came out with this type of sight first (well actually ADCO did, but it's not as popular), and DYE copied as fast as possible. And even though the copy was a limited sucsses (spelled it wrong), it proved itself to be an inferior clone to the sight made by Pro-Team.

Dyes came out years after the proteam one.
The site does help for snap shooting or timed shooting(shooting the side of the bunker before someone pops out to snap shoot) when you dont have time to adjust from where your shots go.
I had the swifty on my phantom when I sold it and it was very accurate even at long ranges with my phantom. It was made of plastic and the light collector got shot off so i got a new one since I didnt want to go spend $80 on the Pro team one. I got the DYE one recently and I like it. Its a little cheaper and smaller so it will fit on my defiant but the space to view the dot is smaller. I also like how you dont need tools to adjust it so if you move to a further or closer spot you can adjust it between snap shots. The really dumb thing about it is it doesnt have the rail mounst, it just has four screws that you clamp onto your gun.
If you like sites then I would get this one if you dont want to spend more on the proteam or have little rail space to mount it on. A cheap alternative to try the type of site out or save money is the swifty even though its longer and not as durable. And all these site require external light to function.I used my dye at an indoor field and it was kind of faint. I think they should put a small watch size light in there for low light situations.
