Great idea, but if they make it smaller, cheaper, and prettier it could ruin paintball shops. Your local pro shop relies on you going in to get air fills and making an impulse purchase while you're there. If you quit going in for fills, there will be no more impulse buying, which will hurt the stores.

First time I've seen it and all I can say is 'interesting'. OK, we need a 'sacrifial lamb' to purchase the item when it is released and write a review(with pics) and give us an honest opinion. What I couldn't tell is that if the hopper has been eliminated or not.

Even though you may think it's ugly looking, you may not realize that this is a breakthrough in paintball. Sure, it's going to be available in that one gun at first, but who knows where this battery powered is going to bring us in 2 or 3 years. Don't think it's not possible either. Just keep in mind that a while ago people would of never thought that force fed hoppers, electronic guns, rates of over 20bps, and many other things would ever be possible. Hell, speedball got the same "STUPID" reputation when it came out too, and look at it now.

just wait....this could be the next big invention for paintball...or it could be a waste of time, who knows...but stuff like computer evolution shows just how something ugly, bulky, weak, and unreliable can turn into an amazing machine.

If they manage to make a cheap battery then can last upto 1500 shots and only takes a half hour to charge. Make the gun look normal. And make this all for a half descent price then I will think about it. But as of right now. Why would I buy batteries when I get air for free?
