This new to you guys?

http://www.paintballstar.com/pn/index.php?name=PagEd&page_id=324

Here's the good stuff.

ntroducing the most advanced, customizable, light, and fastest piece of pure beauty that only the AB Freestyle can bring to the table. Manufactured by ICD mildly based on a freestyle body. This gun is pure hawt-ness. Here are a few features PBStar and ONLY PBStar know about.

You wont find this gun on the shelves. Each production run is made to order, and each one being different. Each production line will be extremely customizable based on what the user wants. Each production run includes:

*each run will be given a different name, with a serial number placed under the grip. (I.E "Eleanor 1" "Shelley 12")

*Each run being a different combination of body anodizing, parts colors, and function.

*Side panel customization. You can put your name, team name, or wicked design by just sending in a required file.

*For a little extra, these guys will give you ANY CUSTOM ANNO YOU WANT! Yeah... that’s right. Want your team colors? You got it.

Here are some of the specs for you guys:

*Lightest gun ever. approx. 1.9lb

*First ever PB Solenoid. Made especially for PB for higher flow, operates at higher pressures to enable faster cycling

*28 BPS (if loader permits)

*Break beam laser eyes

*Most accurate gun tested. (Margin of 80% hits in a 6in. radius from 100ft.)

*ONLY gun of its kind to have a "windowed" breech. That’s right, you take out the bolt you can see through the gun, AND down it.

*Named AB due the way the windows look

*Snatch Grip Pull Pin

*All of that, and soon more, will be available in 3-4 weeks for purchase.

This is where we need your help PBStar visitors. Tell us what you like, and do not like about the gun. Also, we want to know what you, the paintballer want to see on it, and how much YOU want to pay for it. That's right, we are asking for your help! So comment freely. It’s your gun, make it that way.

Sounds very cool. The competition for my new gun (whenever I decide to get one) just keeps growing. I want to see where this goes.

And is it just me, or is the picture they have there just a blurred FS pro?

thats what it looks like yes

this has me worries as well

mildly.... i wont jump onto this until i hear an actual word from someone at ICD or a press release by the company. What is sounds like is a company just buying up 05 freestyle or freestyle pro's then putting their own customization on them for you which in the long run could void ICD's warantee. Again im just thinking outloud but i wont look at them at all until i hear somethin from ICD's mouth

Well the site said it'll be released in 3-4 weeks, so we'll see.

And sorry to jack this thread for a minute, but yoda, I have a question about my brothers cocker, so I'll talk to you on AIM when you get home if you don't mind. You'd know more about it than me, so I hope you can help.

That pick literally looks excactly like the pic that shootpaint has for it's freestyle pro page, so I'm hoping they just took it and fuzzed it up and that's not the actual gun. Although I don't really have a problem w/ the way the Pro looks...

On a side note, I hope this doesn't turn into a Timmy thing where your basically paying for crazy milling. All the flavors of Timmy out there are very pretty, but seriously, do we need that many?

IMO, yes we do need that many flavors.

The reason the picture is blurry and looks like a FS Pro is because it is a FS Pro. The AB FS does not exist yet so there are no pictures. This is just a little hype to build interest.

thats my article..stealing *******s (jk of course)

To answer a few questions..

No it wont be using the f/s board (may be using NOX not sure)

Also,
this gun was actaully designed before the fs 05 pro was. they stole our basic design (not really steal it.. they make them both)

should be out in 2 weeks, and any other questions let me know

Yeah, sorry for not giving you due credit, I really should have. I'll edit the post with that. Thanks for the pics though, and if you don't mind, try to keep us as best updated as possible on PBR also. Thanks

yeah no problem. Even though i work for pbstar.. i guess i can still inform you guys also.

some things discussed were....

Price will be 1000 for a base model, and 1300 for custom anno, engraving, and free barrel kit.

We arent using the ICD regs, cant tell you what regs they are using but they are hawt.

got a custom lpr coming out....

thats about it. And for clarification, we are using the same solenoid the nerve used.. with a few modifications

Hold on, I'm a wee bit confused. Is this gun going to be made by PBStar?

Other than that, sounds awesome.

Nope, its from the very talented minds at Adventure Beach. Action Village (pbgear.com) may be selling them

Man, thats friggin hot...

Seeing if you can clear up some question

1. what kinda barrel kit does the 1300$ FS come w/ ?
2. Does it have crazy efficiency(read it somewhere, like 2000 per 68/45)?

I can't wait...

win_slow4
03-22-2005, 07:37 AM
Wraithguard: it's $1199 :) It comes with a Powerlyte Speedline barrel (very nice!) Not sure on efficiency. When the team used them the regs were not broken in at all - they had only just put air through them the day before.

cutomcocker1

efficiency will prob still suck...but otherwise they're some sick guns
