Depends on which Impulse. It won't be better than mine, though it is cheaper.

the advatages of a b2k4 most definatly outweigh what little advantages the imp has

but yea ur imp is faster, but with the overall you paid for it you could up the bushy with choas to be just as good or better for cheaper

imp has much better availability and variety of aftermarket parts, and can be customized more easily. and you can make an impulse better than you can ever make a bushy, but it will definately cost you outrageous amounts of money. i personally like the design of the impulse better. the little things that make life easier.

besides, impulse has a cooler name. bushmaster. how ***.

thats the cool thing about the bushys, they dont need as many of the upgrades.

and how you can u like the desighn more? they work the same.

and if you dump that much money into a imp or a bushy you need a IQ upgrade as well

i'll give you a stock bushy is better than a stock impulse, and yeah they shoot the same way but the little things about the impulse design, not necessarily the things that affect performance but the other stuff i like. i just don't personally think there is anything about a bushy that would make me take it over an impulse. and imo it does not feel as high end. and for about $800 you can make an impulse super nice, probably better than anything else for that price. i guess maybe it's just my preferance. but if bushy's are better, why do 20 times as many people own impulses than bushmasters? i dunno. glad you like yours though :)

every pro shop ive been to so dar has a impulse for sale. And every tech i talk to hates them more and more, lol

and dark master i am as far from a newb as you are from ever gaining a iq over 50
ive been in the sport back when 10bps was uber high end fast

Heavy marketing and strong business motives (suing proves that). ICD sponsors no pro teams, look how many SP sponsors.

The B2k and Imp both have their pros and cons. To say the Imp has a better design than the B2k is saying the Imp has a bad design. They are almost the exact same design but the B2k has a LPR and a normal solenoid stock. Just because SP is a big company doesn't mean they make good stuff, take BE for example.

you just got burned :P just go back to your pathetic little icd forum

ase i think hes about to hunt you down and throw you out a window. and about the whole sp thing. first let me start by saying i hate sp. i hate the shocker and nerve. i like the impulse. i prefer the impulse over a bushy. i have used both. they both have advantages, but to me as well as many other people, the advantages of the impy are more attractive than those of the b2k/bko. i like the freestyle, but that is something different. if someone can show me an upgraded bushy that is better than an upgraded imp, let me know. but i have shot a custom milled b2k with a new lpr, valve, bolt, hammer, chaos board, trigger frame and reg and still thought my friends impulse was faster, better lookin, more consistant, nearly as light, as accurate, as comfortable, and for a fact $50 cheaper. and the impulse had many upgrades left to be installed, while the b2k was at it's max. this is why i bought an impulse and not a bushmaster. and omg that was alot of typing.

well for 460 the b2k5 is probably one of the best deals inp aintball right now (as long as it doesnt have reliablility issues or something like that). plus it looks sweet.

Then your techs suck. Imps are one of the easiest guns to work on. When they go bad it's usually a user error issue that can be solved with a setting adjustment or it needs a clean/lube/oring/battery. That's it. Imps are stupid simple to work on.

Bushies are usually pretty easy too... but tend to be slightly more intensive because of the LPR and the grip frame isn't quite as easy to take off.

Timmies have a nice Rats nest of wires and tubes to move around inside the grip, plus about a dozen more places to leak from because of the solenoid setup. They are a relatively straight forward gun... but can become a hassle to work on.

Anyway... my point is this. I'd rather work on an Impulse than any other tourny gun.

================================

I have seen several green Imps in the past and the Smart Parts green is very.... well, money.

================================

from only a few days ago Officialy the Impulse is still in production. i was at the factory and several sources (including my insider buddies) have said that the Impulse is on a "wait and see program". If sales continue, so will the gun.

================================

BTW, Blacklight, right or wrong no one will listen to you when you are an Arse. And mocking peoples IQ and choice of markers is considered being an Arse.

Techs around here love impulses. Kids screw them up all the time, and its always easy to fix. Aka fast money.

Really, b2k and impulses are very similar. Having two impulses and a b2k on my team, what is boils down to is that the impys are more efficient and the b2k weighs a ton less... :rolleyes:
