Adrenalin Signs with Smart Parts for 2002

When Paintball 2Xtremes read what Swami posted, we called James Graley of Adrenalin to confirm or deny the rumors personally. In an exclusive interview with Paintball 2Xtremes, James Graley of Adrenalin formally announced that Adrenalin have signed a major sponsorship contract with Smart Parts for the 2002 NPPL season. Adrenalin will create their own Adrenalin Impulse both for their Amateur A and Amateur B teams, and for retail sales. Adrenalin reserved comment as to whether or not this spells the end for the Adrenalin Angel, as the Swami alluded to in his post, but more information is to come. Adrenalin will also use Freak barrel systems and Max Flow tanks in 2002. We don't know where the Swami gets his information, but it seems to be pretty accurate so far.

Here's the details I posted in the Angel forum. By the way this is my first time posting in this forum although I've been lurking in here for a long time Wolverine caught me browsing so he knew for a while.


I saw the other post so I figured I'd clear this up and make an official statement.
It's true both Adrenalin and Adrenalin 2 (our new B team) will be Smart Parts teams for 2002 and shooting Adrenalin Impulses with Max Flos and Freaks. We did some testing with these guns and saw areas where we could really "soup" them up and make an amazing gun that our team would want to shoot over anything in the world.

Question 1. what does this mean for the adrenalin angel?
Well of course we're still going to handle the warranty work on them. We want to keep doing all of our Angel work. We want to expand, so its not substituting one gun for another but rather expanding and coming out with the Impulse and parts and services for it while retaining the Angel parts and accessories.
We might even come out with a Cocker one day as well but for us, our Impulse is the gun of choice.
Nothing will change as far as our Angels out there except possibly the value.

Question 2. what about the value?
Well if we keep making angels and doing everything as usual nothing will change. If some unforseen event forces us to stop making them (but dont worry we dont want this to happen); then I'm sure the guns will be like Eclipses except more rare and go up in value. For instance if it were to happen, we have about 35 in stock and I'd stop selling them wholesale and demand full price since that would be the end of the dynasty. But, I expect us to actually come out with some new angel accessories and mods (that we've put tons of time into already) and keep moving forward with Angels, business as usual.

Question 3. What does this mean for the impulse?
I can't wait to show you. It will be expensive though. We've been an Angel team since 1998 so for us to switch you can only imagine what it will look like. Low pressure, low maintenance, high profile and our warranty and service.

The A-Impulses will be done before the LA NPPL. they are going to make a batck of 50 the first time around- but 25 of those will be for team guys. The configuration of the guns has not even been finalized yet. They are trying a number of different aftermarket assocries, and doing a bunch of testing right now.

Sorry guys-- your just going to have to be patient as they come to a final set up, they will anounce it.

so if he said "an amazing gun that our team would want to shoot over anything in the world" that means its going to be ONE AWSOME IMPY because right now they have Adrenalin Angels that i wouldn't mind shooting.

that imp sounds damn sweet. So, ive heard you can get a regualr impulse "adrenalized", but are they going to offer that as soon as they release the adrenalin imp, or are they going to offer to "adrenalize" stock impulses later, after they have been making parts for a while?

cause if they're gonna offer their parts in March or April, maybe i'll save my cash and wait till then to upgrade my imp a lot. :)

thats what i'm gonna do. buy a 32* imp and then wait and see if adrenaline makes an ACE and get a crapload of there products.
