Okay i sent a e-mail and here is what i sent:
Dear kingman staff,
I just recently watched your video "bunkd" and i am concerned with your regards to safety, at one time they had there masks off and no barrel plug/sock I am afraid this will reflect on new paintballers to saftey on and off the feild, please do something about this.
Sincerly, Sam (my last name)
You could send something similar to that just not exactly.

In that video there are multiple violations in paintball safety, to start off, Scott doesnt put his mask on before he walked out onto the feild. Before the game is over Scott takes off his mask, they never show barrel socks or plugs being used. At the end of the video there are two people without masks on the feild and Brendon never put his safety on or covers the barrel. Did I miss anything?
I email kingman three times regarding this video, they have ignored me, one of my friends however did get a reply when he threated to point out the safety violations to APG magazine, this is what he was told by kingman: "There is nothing you can do to get us to take it down, we would love the extra publicity, go ahead". Kingman has gone to far with this video, if they want publicity then I will see to it that they get it.
I know alot of you will say "whats the big deal? They had a safety crew on the set". Thats not the point, this commercial obviously only targets newbs (Everyone else knows the imagine is nothing special). How many new players will want to respect the safty rules on the feilds if they see this?
Please take a few minutes of your time to email kingman on behalf of the safety of this great sport.

And yet another fool posts about how a video showing people with goggles off is going to be the downfall of the sport.
People have preconceived opinins about paintball. If people hate it, they will point to that and say it's bad, bad, bad. If people are neutral, they most likely don't know much about it, and really don't care. If people feel positively about it, this won't make them hate the sport.
The only attention you're grabbing by bringing this up is the people who dislike paintball and want it dead. Those who have neutral or favorable impressions won't care. It's extremely hard to change someone's opinion of something, and a simple video with a mask on won't make a naysayer into a "I <3 Paintball" person. Nor will a video with a mask off make an "I <3 Paintball" person say they want it banned.
Oy....you and CO2 mail in APG need to get together and have a pow-wow.

C02 mail is a joke.
Dear Editor,
Last night I watched a show and there was this comercial and they mentioned paintball and they didn't go over the proper safety procedures for the sport after mentioning it!! OMGWTFz1?./
You know all those commercials (like the ones that actually AIR ON REAL TELEVISION) where they show a car doing something risky (such as having a mechanic ride underneath it tweak with it while the car is driving), do you see people saying "omg cars are danmgerous, im taking the bus!1" or going out and trying it themselves? No? Of course not.
Noone else needs to waste Kingmans time.

don't guns have safty buttons? what ever they are. and if you look you can see them with their fingers off the trigger and muzzels in a safe direction. and at the end the one guy has his muzzle away from everyone and the other guy has his gun on the ground.

Fools. This was made to be funny, dumb ones. You're totally taking it out of context.
"Safety Note:
The Bunk'd web clip is a spoof and does not represent actual paintball events.
When playing paintball, all safety precautions should be followed and equiptment such as barrel plugs and paintball goggles should be used properly at all times."

I care too, but you don't take stuff out of context. Its like taking apart this sentence:
I'm ***, you know the happy ***.
Then someone would take it ouf of context and say this guy said "I'm ***"

My son never said he was worried about it ruining are sport, or that people were gonna quit paintball because of it. You guys are a bunch of public school C or D student who are gonna get slapped in the face after highschool.
I think what we let companies get away with in their ads will greatly effect hows are sport is portrayed to the public, what if we do nothing to stop ads with safety violations and half nude girls? What will happen when paintball starts advertising on TV? I dont want that to happen, no parent would let their 13 year old get into the sport then. I know I am a parent.
My son was the one who started this thread, he deleted his acount on here by changing his email account to a false email address so he couldnt get the activation code, so if it makes you happy he wont be posting here anymore. Go have a party.

First of all, most of the general media and public (who aren't paintballers) already misunderstand and hate us. Sure, the Kingman video isn't helping, but if you're on the Kingman site, you might already play paintball and don't care. Wow, some guy took his goggles off. If anything, the media is looking for teens who do drivebuys, not Kingman's comedy video. Also, when paintball starts advertising on TV, great, I hope they take more responsibilty. But this is on kingmans website...one the internet...on a computer. No one cares.

I don't want to seem like a huge jerk, but it's the truth, no one cares. You're making too big a deal out of this. Just take moose's example about seatbelts. Thanks for your concern, but this will not change paintball.

Public school is bad, why? Its funny because my public high school is better than some private schools. I'm an A+ student, honors student, and honor roll student. What school does your son go to?
Its important that we portray our sport right. That's why Kingman says that eye safety is always important. You're basically taking out the "Warning do not try this at home" safety caution and presenting us with a stupid video. There are reasons why we have them. Guess what? That kingman video has them.
I'll have a party once you and your son stop taking stuff out of context.
