Would like you opinions

Well im at a cross roads right now. I am in the market for a new gun. I either want an 05 freestyle of and sp ion. I know the freestyle will be an all around better gun, I have a reason for having the ion agianst it. I only play recball, I dont plan on playing tournament ever. It just seems like the freestyle would be a little expensive considering I only play rec ball. Anyways I want yalls opinion, I realize the decision is ultimately mine. Im a bit weary of getting the ion, since its made by sp. I've had issues with them in the past. I got an impulse and it so many small probs, and a few major. I am just about sel it for 200. I have more money also, but thats unrelated. From the reviews Ive read the ion is an overall good gun, and sturdy. And they havent seemed to have any bugs like most fist gen. sp guns do. Also i dont want a wraith, or A bko. I chose the Freestyle and ion because i like the design/ look of them. So go for the freestyle even though its only recball, or go for the ion? please give intelligent answers, no SMART PARTS SUCKS! or ICD SUCKS ! or anytihng else like that.

Freestyle will have slightly better performance, but the Ion is much cheaper. Your call, but the Ion is pretty nice for the money :tup:

ok thanks for the input. It looks like Im going to look into the ion some more. Im going to wait a little bit longer and see if theres any defects.

And comando, I know an Ion isnt as good as a Freestyle. I just dont want to ge a gun that is over kill for the level I play at, wich is just recball.

Freestyle you will own everyone you play (if u are good with it) they are so smooth and light( the lightest gun i think(its eitherthat or the shocker)) FREESTYLE!!!! you will be happy my neighbor has one and they are so nice im getting one too

its also either Freestyle, or Ion "witha few upgrades". now the ion is about 200-300 bucks or so cheaper. but you can get the Ion and upgrade it, just like a new barrel or something, mebe a bolt. then it will be nicer than it was stock. dont forget that. either way the ion will be cheaper and would still be nice

if I get the ion im getting maybe a new feedneck, and on/ off, and later a new reg. Already got HPA and a barrel.

well the more i consider it the more it looks like a good deal and perfect for me. But still Ive had bad dealing with sp in the past. Im gonna bid my time for a little bit more. See if any new bugs pop up in these things.

They are great for there price. He doesnt play tournaments so he doesnt need a top of the line gun. Otherwise if he did id tell him to get the fs.

get the freestyle. that way, you wont need to upgrade in the near future.
