How loud is it? Compare to another gun, please.

Oh, and another thing: If you buy a vsc phantom and also buy a bottom line for it, could you screw a regulator (in this case a Palmer Stab.) into the vertical air adapter then run a line to the bottom line where your gass would go? I will check to see if anyone has dont something like this by searching the pic threads here and at pbn.

Loud?
No the phantom is not that loud, still much more quiet then a stock Spyder. Yes, if you get a bottomline and VA kit you could use the stab. But you wont need it. The phantom when properly dialed in can have the consistancy for +/-5fps. you wont need the stab.

Thank God. A 12 gram on a bottom line would look rediculous at best.
Im thinking of getting an all american for it. Do you think if i sent an AA barrel to mike he would put it on the gun and annodize it with it? Because im in love with the green and blue acid phantoms
Havnt decided yet though :D
Green... camo
Blue... TIGHT

Couldn't tell you if mike would do that... I say you e-mail him and ask. And i still don't suggest buying a AA. They are not worth the 90 dollars you spend on them. If anything, buy a CCI nickle

The phantom is unlike any other gun- you buy it stock and leave it alone. Theres just about no aftermarket upgrades you can do to make it better. Most stuff would be cosmetic or a different setup from CCI. Most of the tricked out phantoms have all CCI parts. You might see some with nitro and a nice Angel reg but thats just for kicks.

1. Yes the phantom is quiet
2. NO don't get an AA. It will KILL :atten: your gass efficiency
3. Get the CCI Nickel....it's a realy good barrel and it's cheap
4. Yes you can run a reg on the Phantom with a botom line setup
5. No you do not need the reg b/c the Phatnom is verry efficient
6. It's late and I need sleep...bye

Sorry, this whole "leave it stock" concept has blown my mind... what do you expect from an autococker owner?
Is a cci nickel any different from a stock, except its... nickel?
I have seen dyes (all kinds) on phantoms too... would that be any improvement? Got to keep asking...

the nickle finish is more detailed, and the bore is perfectly honed/buffed. Its more efficent as well.
if you like dye stickys, use em!

I meant dye BARRELS. But i will have stickies on it too :D
Ive decided on an dye alluminum... its a little less efficient but i can deal with that. Its cheap at 50 bucks and its quieter than stock.

lol it's hard to find them out there.
As for your wuestion about the Nickel barrel. It is a MAJOR improvement over the stock. It's the best barrel I have used for my phantom and I've tried the DYE stainless and DYE boomstick

Really? Thats interesting. The only thing i dont like about the nickel is that its shiny and loud. I wish they could anno a nickel barrel.
