Now I think I know the answers to these questions but just to be on the safe side I wanted to ask about them. I don't intend to do any of these but I have been wondering about them for a while and I wish to know the answers.

In the rules you state no drug content, no pictures of a sexual nature, and no references to drugs.

Now the dilemma....

Lets say I wanted to sell a marker of mine. For example a A4 Fly with the rasta paint job. Now posting this with a photo violates forum rules because of the drug nature and reference that the paint job depicts. On one hand it is a marker and on the other hand it depicts marijuana.

Now lets say I were to also post an add for a tank I own. For example an angel air system with the "Kiss" skin on it. Again this would in theory violate forum rules due to the sexual nature it depicts and what it implies. Again on one hand its a HPA tank, but on the other hand it depicts sexual material. You also could put some of the [forgive me for this...] 3A tanks in this category due to the nature of the photos they put on the tanks.

Now lets also say I were to want to sell a hopper. Lets say this hopper had some stickers on it, now obviously one of the stickers from "TAG" would be unacceptable due to the language, but lets say I were to have a SP sticker that showed one of their spokeswomen or a sticker with some form of similar content. Now this violates the rule of what is acceptable in photos, again on one hand it is a hopper with a sticker, but on the other hand it depicts an item of a sexual nature. This also could include a barrel condom from SP.

What strikes me as odd is that people have posted items using pods that depict them in a more [shall we say] phallic form? More specifically some of the pods from Allens. One could interpret a pod to be an item of some other nature [again phallic], and someone unfamiliar to the sport and equipment might mistake it for a different item. (Which has occurred several times when parents have stopped at the field and saw pods in display cases).

Another item, items that lean towards a sexual nature. More specifically a item that depicts certain areas of anatomy while seeming harmless to the less knowledgeable members. The case I would point to is in a popular magazine recently they arranged paintballs to seem as though they were dumped on the ground. The catch was in the middle was arranged to be a certain part of the female anatomy. It looked like someone poured paintballs onto the ground but if you looked closely you would notice what they had done [in a way subliminally]. Later they responded to what they had do when a reader wrote in about it. If something like this were to be used on PBR would you find it acceptable?

Also an add I viewed recently [was a rip of the old neogeo adds] that had a pair of paintballs sitting on a white background. The caption stated: "You need lots of these to use one of these" and then displayed the marker advertised. Would this be an add acceptable for PBR?

And finally....

Note the user name. It implies a drug reference, more so the practice of "huffing" fumes. Is this a acceptable user name? If so why?

Thats all for now, if you could answer and give reasons why. I would appreciate it.

I don't think the mods will have any problem with selling that kind of stuff, especially the rasta fly. It's not like blatantly posting, "Let's all go get high dudes!". Same with the other gear, it may be slightly sexual in refrence, but quite a few paintball people buy those items. I honestly think the drug reference rules were put into place because of ol' Red Haze.

Not to mention you're listing these in the B/S/T forum anyway, not a huge amount of people see it usually.

But if a paintball item had a completly nude body or joints on it, the mods will probably remove it.

It's at our discretion. If it were up to me, I would say:

Rasta Fly: OK
Angel Air: OK.
Hopper: Edit the image by blocking out any indecent words on the sticker. it's okay to leave the sticker on so people can see how much of the area of the hopper is covered by the sticker, if that's what they want to know, but edit out any words that would normally be starred by the swear filter. In the cases of scantily clad women, please note no nudity is allowed period. Any nipples/etc must be blocked out. However, SP barrel condoms would be acceptable given the context of the situation. While they would normally violate avatar dress codes, it is not an avatar and is instead a part of product for sale, and so long as it doesn't show nudity, it's ok by me.
Inappropriate pod pics? PM a mod for "cleverly placed" pods. Again, it's at our discretion. If a parent really thinks a pod is an item of a more sexual nature because they are unfamiliar with paintball, that's not our fault and we wouldn't be held accountable for someone leaping to conclusions without doing some investigation to figure out what the heck they are talking about first.
An ad as described? I don't think anyone is selling paintballs on the trading forums, so advertising for a company without Andrew's consent is already against forum rules.
Paintsnorter's name is acceptable in this instance. Now if it said "cracksnorter" I don't think that would fly too well. But given that all of us know that no one really huffs paint, and the fact I really don't have "black talons" as my username would suggest, allows Paintsnorter to keep his.
