do bore sizes really make a difference? because i wanna buy a 2-piece dye ultralite barrel. i am wondering what size would be most common for paintballs now-a-days. i live in socal where it gets pretty hot. and do the bore sizes really make that much of a difference?

A good size is .689. It is a medium size and there is also a good deal of different paint with that size. Paint to barrel match isn't as huge a deal as some people make it out to be, you may get a few more breaks if you use a .690 paint on a .689 barrel, but really, not that much of a difference.

i can get a really good deal on a .692 but i dont know if it will still be accurate or quiet. will it? and will it have problems with smaller paint?

it should shoot it fine, maybe not wuite as accurate. i think you lost gas efficiency with a small paint and a large bore though. its not bad though.

if u can get a really good deal, go for it. its a great barrel
