Best Paint for a Tippy

I was wondering what was the best paint for a tippmann. I usually shoot Heat, or Draxxus. What do yall suggest?

there is no specific paint for a tippy, or any other gun out there.

just about anything will shoot thru the J&J but pmi premiums, bigballs, gap, zap wor the best, marbs r a lil too small, any walmart paint works well. b/c of the teflon impregnated coating it will shoot any thing unless it's too small.

I ran the PMI Premiums through my J&J and every 3rd ball would come out like soup through the barrel. Nothing broke up by the bolt.. it was all through travelling down the barrel.

Sucks. I still have 2 cases of it.

then u got sum crappy paint, i regularly use premiums in my J&J and they shoot like a dream.

I have an A-5 with freak kit, core 21" sniper barrel and RT. I personally like the Draxxus. If you want to get the best draxxus usually midnight and inferno are pretty good. But i use Blaze. Their pretty good for my tippmann. They fit good inside a .687 and .689 barrel, smaller than that they will break.

I think Evil paint works Great in My A-5, Find what you like and stick with it, unless you use a Flatline the kind of paint doesn't matter, then it's the diam. of the paint that makes the diff. Just my thoughts.

Ironfreak, maybe you should look into the fact that its the most reliable gun you can get. And why are you in the Tippmann forums unless ur so sick of your own gun? are you trying to prove to yourself that they suck just because you cant afford to buy one?

anyway it depends on the bore of your barrel so if you find a paintball with the same bore as your barrel thats good and you should use it.Anything pmi makes is usually good paint wise

I usually use DraXxus Midnights. They work very good and out of 3 cases, I never had one bust. Although I rarely go above 6 BPS. I'm also using an Empire Twister 16''.

When I get my flatline, I'll use nothing but Diablo Heats because of their price, quality and small bore size. The flatline has a small bore and so does the stock barrel it seems. You can get away with a small bore paintball due to the Tippy's ball latch design.

I have found that Draxxus work well also Nelson hotspot works pretty well too.

My personal favorite for my 98 are the Diablo Nightmares, but for my flatline my favorite are the RPS Marbalizers, theyre expensive but they shoot straight till they drop out of the sky
