Colorado paintballers, I am organising a free public field in the mountans. I have already selected a location and I am currentley working on getting a co2 fill station. I can no longer afford going to a normal field, I cant afford 30 for entery, 2 for co refil and for paint. I just cant afford it. That is why I am calling all colorado paintballers to join me in this. Imagine: a field that is open day and night, 365 days a year, taken care of by its users, and reffreed by its users. totally free! That is why I need help. Anyone with wood, nails drainage tubing, a machete (for clearing the path), or anything that can be of help, PM me for the details. please help. This will be very cool is we can get it to work. This field will be BYOP only, and will not (at this point) have co2 avalible for sale. we may be able to sell paint but we need a retail licence and investors, and workers, and that would turn it into a normal field. But anyone with access to paint straight from the factory, tell us so that we can buy our own paint cheep. Please help

I would have put this in the regional forums, but noone ever goes there, eaver. They are like a barren wasteland for input.

RCX owns a non-profit field...He's just against outlaw fields that don't use insurance. By the sounds of it, its going to be a real field.

sounds exactly like an outlaw field to me...they dont want to turn it into a normal field. do you really think a bunch of 15 year olds are going to pay for insurrance???

It's an outlaw field.

The kid can't spell "organized" correctly, so I doubt he can organize a legal paintball field.

ummm....first of all typo. Secondley, in colorado paintball markers are legally the same as supersoakers, so there really isnt such a thing as an "ilegal" field. If you rich people dont have anything helpful to say, dont say anything. I am just trying to make a place where poor people like me can play paintball together, and not have to pay $300 a visit. i already have alot of support but i would like more.Suggestions would help too. you dont have to live in colorado to help

You spelled "secondly" wrong.

If it's not you're property it's illegal.

If someone gets hurt and files a lawsuit it's your *** on the line.

nobody said your field was illegal, which it most likely is if you dont have written permission to be there and run the 'establishment' you have described and it is not your land.

and not everyone who doesnt support outlaw fields is rich, hell, im in college and i work full time so i can put a roof over my head, food in my fridge, gas in my car and paint in my hopper.

i support safe enjoyment of paintball and creating a place like you describe brings up numerous issues of safety that i feel will not be addressed or are incapable of being inforced.
