"THE NPPL TEAMS UP WITH UPPER DECK TO PROVIDE

AUTHENTIC PAINTBALL TRADING CARDS

Paintball Players Can Make Their Mark With Their Own Upper Deck Personalized Trading Cards

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (MAR. 8, 2005) – The National Professional Paintball League (NPPL) and the Upper Deck Company have entered into an exclusive partnership that will introduce the first Upper Deck Personalized Trading cards for professional paintball players and paintball enthusiasts.

Whether players engage in competitive Paintball events or prefer to play recreationally on the weekends, these cards provide a can’t-miss opportunity for them to promote their paintball skills, highlight their most memorable games, personal records and more!

“Paintball is currently the third-most popular extreme sport in the world, and with over 12 million followers, we feel the sport deserves to be recognized with Official Upper Deck Personalized Trading cards,” said Susan Theodore, Product Manager for Personalized Products at Upper Deck.

The Upper Deck/NPPL online trading card program is in full swing, allowing anyone to begin developing their own trading card. The process is simple, just go to www.nppl.tv or www.myupperdeck.com/nppl and follow the easy instructions. Players will be asked to upload a photo along with specific text information they want added to the card, such as statistics, sponsors and highlights. Orders are processed in minutes and cards are sent out within two weeks. The cost is only $14.99 for a 9-pack and $24.99 for an 18-pack plus shipping and handling.

“We are very excited about offering Upper Deck trading cards to paintball enthusiasts worldwide,” said Chuck Hendsch, NPPL President. “Upper Deck trading cards give athletes the recognition they deserve and capture the essence of any sport. The NPPL is committed to providing quality services and benefits to player members and we are thrilled with this opportunity.”
