ok so right now i have basicly a fully uped imp (its in my sig). I was looking to purchase a new gun i decided to et his one 2k4 lcd matrix for 450, long story short my money is being sent back. Now i was thinking if i were to sell my imp i could get like a upped shocker or a proto. What do you guys think i should do, sell it or keep it
p.s. how much do you think i could get for it

you could get aboput 450$ for your setup, but it would take a long *** time to sell it. since you have that money, and unless you can find someone to buy it quickly, i would suggest this: get your impulse milled, buy an AIM or I-frame, and buy a WAS board. with all those it will be just as good in everyway as a proto or any other gun under the sun.
yeah, if you dont sell the impy soon, the price is just gonna go down with all of the new technology thats coming out. im going to get a new gun before college, so if i get it now it will be like almost 2 years old. im deciding to keep my impy for a nother year or two and when i do get a new gun i will just have a really kick *** backup gun (the backup being my impy)
i bet you could get $500. ebay is your best bet though, unless you can find someone locally

yeh, after like waiting for 3 months... then again, you'd be supprised how low impulses' resale values are... :(

no you could get 400-450 on ebay for the gun in about a week. don't buy a shocker. either keep your impulse or buy the proto. your choice. proto is better and will always be a little better, but impulses are awesome and can be more customized. they have style :D

btw since your impy is special color (red), it will sell much faster and higher price than a black one. yeah, racism still exists in the world of impulses :ghost: it's messed up bro

one more question, what about getting a shocker instead of matirx i might need to sell my imp if i get one of those

matrix will be alot better, just heavier.

how/why?

matrix is a little faster, quieter, a little more efficiant, less kick, from my experience more reliable, has lpr stock, the dye version has break beam eyes, it's just really big and oafy while the shocker is small and light.

true, matrix>shocker, but matrix is not better than his impulse with a few more parts-the impulse can actually shoot a lot faster than any matrix due to the matrix's higher dwell.

but matrix programming is much faster, my old trix had fp 11ms and bp 26ms so 37ms total dwell time max rof i think was around 27bps based on that cycle rate, so it's not like you will ever get an impulse past that even if it is capable. matrix is still a little quieter, less kick than an impulse. and again with the break beam eyes. plus matrix trigger frames are much higher quality. ohh and matrix has lower lpr pressure so less chance of broken paint.
not that much better but a little. and by the way i'm talking lcd matrix, a proto or dm4/5 would be even better especially in the weight and size category.

right, a matrix can't really physically fire faster than 26/27bps, while the properly setup impulse can cycle 40cps, and shoot over 30bps. it really doesn't matter at those numbers, it's just nit picky.
matrix lpr; definitly true, it's really hard to chop in any matrix with an lpr kit on it, as opposed to any impulse with an lpr kit-the impulse's cannot use less than 60psi to the solenoid, which can easily chop any paintball.
kick, again totally 100% true, a matrix will normally have a bit less kick than an impulse.
break beam eyes won't make a difference, just as long as he was to buy was.
also, if he had all that money to spend, he could buy a new trigger frame, of the same quality of the matrix's

but the matrix is sexy and smooth and rounded. the impulse is a block. maybe a block with chunks cut out. anyways, they are both really sweet guns, it really doesn't matter.
cept the marix is cooler

...
Are you calling my gun a brick with chunks cut out!?:pissed:
;)
Kick isn't that big of a deal. Imp's aren't the lightest guns out of there so their mass is harder to kick. You get used it...Just like in CS. Lol. I just compared a video game to paintball. Haha.

Sounds like my gat?! Eh...I would've sigged that if I could. Show all the other punks out there that my Imp will kick the **** out your gun. <--I think I went a little far. ;) :D
I think I'm tired of the low resale valve and how everyone thinks Imps suck.
