I have a Dye Ultralight barrel. Its bore size is .688. I was wondering what size the paint should be for me to get most accuracy, range, and the least amount of barrel breaks?

Should the bore size be right on like .688, or should it be .689 or .690. Please help me out.

anyway, find a ball that fits in your barrel well, you can shoot smaller paint well but larger paint is more likely to chop in your barrel.

My barrel is .688. I was wondering what size the paint should be to match that? Should it be exactly the same size (.688) or should it be a little bigger?

same size or smaller. dont get larger paint or your will very likely break paint in your barrel.

If it is smaller than the barrel bore size, wont the ball just roll out and not be accurate.

you wont suffer very much accuracy loss, much less than the quality of paint with smaller bore paint and markers these days have ball detents to prevent balls rolling out the barrel /double feed. if your marker is closed bolt you will want to match your bore better or balls will roll out of the barrel when you are not shooting. larger bore paint will break in the barrel due to the amount of friction they experience. if you would rather break a lot of paint then suffer the slight accuracy loss due to smaller bore paint then use it, otherwise you'll want smaller
better yet, get paint that fits the barrel!
