I'll help you out this time though. Dwell is the time the valve stays open and air flows through the solenoid.

Dwell is how long the valve is opened to let air pass through.

Well, you need to have a perfect balance. Too low is too bad and Too high is too bad. Yeah, I know, the grammer is bad, but I don't feel like hitting the backspace button.
