about Dwell

I know im a noob, only have been playing for 6 months, but when you open up the handel and see the grey button that messes with the dwell, does that change the firing mode? I don't know how to change it, my Ion is on 3-burst ( i think) and the manual says something like push the grey button till it lights up red and blinks. I did this, but it didn't do anything. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP OUT A NOOB :( :(

ok ok calm down
hit the grey button, until the little red LED blinks fast.
then hit the on/off button and it should make tyhe Yellow LED flash too then hit it again. should do it again. then hit the trigger. you should be back in semi auto... hoping i remebered how to do this...
