ive been looking at impulses lately and i figured its better to get a custom impulse rather than a stock and upgrade it. Im trying not to break $600 here and i found some customs with good upgrades and a good price:

Ratpulse
GameFace Thunder Impulse
Nasty Impulse

If you guys know of any other ones plz help me, this is a hard choice. This is my last gun and i want it to look good and operate well, so plz enlighten me on custom impulses.

Rat LTD are a very good deal. They come with delrin bolt and brass hammer, blade trigger, low rise feedneck, looks very nice.

i just aquired a tonton imp and its great but the rat i found out is lighter and has a lo-rise feedneck..... rats a little better for the money

Used are better. Lots of more upgrades on them for the cost of a stock new one.

i second the adrenaline, mine is much lighter than other the standard impulse. i have had only one problem with mine and that is a small leak that i am sure i can fix very easily.
