they suck. Heavy to simulate a real M-16. No barrel upgrades. It has it's place for training military & police but any spyder or tippmanns a better marker.

Why on earth would you want a paint-marker that looks like a gun? Don't you think we have enough problems already convincing people we don't "play with guns"? Markers like that are one of the worst things for our sport.

Don't buy into the politically correct BS garbage HaZrD Boy, I like 'em too. I would opt for performance over looks when it comes down to it though. There are those who would have paintball played only the way they like to play it with only the type of marker that they like to play with. It is how you use your marker (gun) that counts. Play the game the way you like, with the gun you like. Don't let the ignorant intimidate you. those who think that paintball is a bad thing, think so because of the nature of it, not what the guns look like and you can't change their minds by caving in to them. They will only disrespect you more for it.

this is mainly meant for the military. the miilitary buys it for their soldiers to train anit-terrorist teams with. the price is ridiculous because they know the miltary has the most cash in the US so they can get loads off of selling those things. by the way, i think tippmann makes m-16 paintball guns.

the m-16's and m4's are used by the americans for training, but not for everything. from what I've heard when the big 4 rcr training session (which all units report) happens in august you use m16 paintball guns for the war scenario. man I can't wait to start basic traning if I do get in.

I think they switched from paintball to the Laser stuff. I went to Fort Bragg a couple weeks ago and they had the orange laser mounted on the barrel and people wore these things that made a noise when they were shot. Best part was it sounded so real since you were shooting blanks instead of paintballs

Just buy an ICD Desert Fox.. they kinda look like an m16 and they will perform 10x as better.

What the hell are you talking about? It has the "Hyper-Shot" 3-lb trigger in it, but thats standard on ALL 98 Customs! It should only be $125!

Omg that's so friggin stupid, look at the first "M-16", It's either an old spyder compact, or a spyder clone (stacked tubes), and a CMI Tru-Flight barrel that u can get off ebay for 20$ with some cosmetics on there... the other one the first one with the green background looks nice tho...

Id say the first one would be about 1350, the second one about 1500, www.getrealpaintball.com

just mod your spyder out to an mp5 lookin gun. or buy a tippmann, paint it, get the site like the m4, get a stock, and make a shroud to look like the m4.
bleh mp4s have bad recoil

Actually Mistersuperfly, the one in the first pic you're talking about would be an AT-4, the second would be an AT-16 "Sniper" (whatever that means). They are about as far from a Spyder as you can get with a stock paintball gun. They are not a stacked tube gun, they fire from a closed bolt, have a thumb switch to select between semi and full auto (non-electric), and most interestingly, they are clip-fed. The balls get fed upward from a removable clip in the bottom via a chain mechanism-every time it's fired, the chain moves, inserting a new ball into the breach. It's nearly impossible to chop a ball with that gun. It works like an integrated warp feed. You can also get a hopper adapter so you can use a hopper, it'll just sit on the side. The barrels also feature a unisizer that adapts to fit each paintball inserted. You can actually use any different paintballs you want in it, all mixed up, and it'll work fine. The only real problem is they are very complex, not the kind of thing you'd want to work on without a workbench around. And you really shouldn't run co2 though them, as it trashes the internal regulator (that's what happened to mine before I bought it used). And while those models look cool, they are mostly cosmetic-they're used for things like SWAT training because of their similarity to the weapons that would actually be used (removable clips, select fire, no hopper). Regular folks should just get the AT-85 if they want one of these-new, they're about $550 if you look around (try Skan-line). These guns ar very accurate and can have a high rate of fire on semi, or switch to full auto if you're allowed (12 bps sustained rate of fire). The only real downside is that they have almost no upgrades, except from the manufacturer.

Well the Hellhound is right on Tippmann's main webpage, and I think it's been around for a while. I'm just upset that it was supposed to be at The Bunker's D-Day 2002 in Oklahoma, but didn't show up for whatever reason.
