Question for the old school pump users

Ok,

I have a Bushmaster Line SI. problem, i have changed out the springs, the cup seal, the powertube, all the orings, ajusted the bolt (yep down the barrel ajustable bolt)

and still, every time I cock it, it "pops" a bit of air out. It is driveing me frigging NUTS.

this happen to anyone else? standard nelson setup. Ive got spair Line SI powertubes, ive tryed 3 of them. same thing each time. Cup seals are all orginal line SI stuff

valve spring is too light, put in the next higher color, or a brand new spring, then back out your bolt's adjuster some, and find a main spring that will put your velocity in the ballpark, and fine tune from there....


for your powertubes, I'd stick w/a #6 tube.. (biggest holes)
