View Full Version : phantom question
hi, a couple of questions.I have heard the phantom is light. Well if i add a 9oz tank or a 20oz tank can the gun support it and will it make the gun back heavy. This is assuming I have a vl200 hopper with paintballs in it to balance it out. And also can the vertical kit support more than a four oz tank? Also how many shots do yall get out of a tank and is liquid bad forr this gun. I see there is no need to get n2 but I live in maine soo does liquid co2 like freeze the gun up and stuff. And finally is anti siophening my tanks a good idea?

liquid CO2 is bad for any pbgun. Yes the phantom is light, and a tank on the rear makes it a little heavy, but are you thinking about shooting a pump like a pistol? because if you arn't, then that tank should be resting on you body somewhere. The thing you will notice the most is the off balanced feel a full 200 round hopper gives. IF you don't have a CF breech, then your gun will be off balanced a slight bit, but noticeably.

If i were you i would just invest in a micro phantom or a vsc phantom. these guns are stock class and are very light. They may only hold fifteen balls at a time but that's all you need to play pump. Also since the gun is so light you can use a 3.5 oz or quick change and put a stock on it.That will give you an incridibly light gun and a stock to push up against your body to have more stability
