So who all is in the Penn area?

Sorry Mods if this is a bit off topic but I justed wanted to see how many fellow ICDers are around that area....

A few of my friends and I are thinking about taking the trip in May to go to Skirmish and wanted to see if in ICD'ers opinion if its worth it and if any of you go to these types of weekends? Would be fun to meet up with a few of you, I think RTB and Impya are around that area

i live close altoona, i'm right between skirmish and pittsburgh, its about 3 1/2 for me to drive there, if your going up here, go to stonemak instead if you want to play speedball, it's so much nicer and better, check it out

I live in PA.....been to skirmish a few times, it's expensive, and sometimes the paint isn't the best quality.....but the fields are good and the people are usually really nice.

I'm in VA, but if a few ICD people want to have like a PBR ICD meetup there, I will most definetely go. It'd be cool to meet most of you. And I know lucky, Imp, and gomster (though he's gone) are up there. There were a lot more back in the day, but a lot of them left PBR and those are the only one's I remember.

Yoda, if you go, please don't go on the eighth (I think that's it)! Otherwise, I'll have to miss AO VA day. If I had to chose between the two, I'd rather go to PA, but it would be nice to go to both. If you have it around the 21st of May, my birthday :), my mom might be more willing to drive me up there!

its set we are going up there for the weekend of the 21st. Guess they are having something going on there. It includes trail biking, water rafting and paintballing for the weekend. Something new for my friends and I as we are all major outdoors people so we will try it once and see what its like.

EDIT > I checked it out, looks like it's the castle nights special.....I'v played on the castles quite often, they are great fun.....the tippmann castle is HUGE. unfortunantly it's only 5 hrs of play and mostly at night.....I dont' know if a lot of people would be into that.....even though the castles ARE lighted.

Alright, so let me sort of get this straight. During the day, theres the outdoor stuff, and then at night you have the castle game? If so, I might just go for the game. I'll check on skirmish's site for more info either ways.

I talked to my mom and she'd be willing to drive me up, especially since it is my birthday :). How many of you plan on going? Like I said, it would be cool to meet some of you. And if you guys see Imp on AIM or on here PM him and let him know about this, he hasn't posted yet.

And by the way, I wouldn't mind playing the castle game. Does the darkness (though you said it was well lighted) get annoying, lucky?

Edit: Will there also be a "normal" day of paintballing? I might just do that and/or the castle. Meh.

truthfully, I'v never played the castles at night, but I have played them in the day a bunch of times.....it's a lot of fun.........and skirmish is crazy about insurance and the safety of it's players, so I doubt they would let you go running around if it was to dark to play.
