ok i want a new gun for under $$350, i am thinking of the ion but maybe there is a better bang for my buck. is there any other gun for around that price that is fast (at least 17bps), runs at around 350psi or lower, and has vision? What gun would u guys get if u had $350 to spend on a gun?

Buy the ion and a new barrel. You allready have a tank and hopper so use the rest of the money to play.

You could look into the Wrath but be careful if you do, first gen's.Although they are getting good reviews the last time I checked.

The wrath is spring returned, his best bet would be the ion.

I would look on Ebay for a used Impulse, shocker, Ect...But be careful of rip-offs.
If you can't find anything you like, then look into buying a ION, and a new barrel. OR wait and see how good the 05' BKO is when it comes out.

Could get a B2K4 with vision, or you could use the search button and read the other bazillion threads just like this that have been posted this week.

So it's not Ion vs. BKO vs. Wrath anymore, now it's just "What gun should I get?" threads.
Ion. For 350, that your best bet.

4 Way noid, and its a proven design.

And proven design, are you trying to say that a spool valve isn't a proven design? C'mon now. Just because the Ion is a better gun/deal than what ICD is dishing out for a similar price range doesn't mean you need to take irrelevant facts and try to prove a point. Come up with something that makes a difference, not a solenoid that you're not going to out shoot anyways.

it had a ver nice trigger that is 3 way adjustable. Delron bolt for better cycling. +/- 5/4 hpr and stock lpr. break beam eyes. more aftermarket parts that you can get. very decent eye logic and something that doesn't look like its crap (plastic/ crap) And if $P is so good they can make that reg smaller.

Ion also has break-beam eyes. Its also smaller isn't it?
I'm going to shoot an Ion soon. I got to see what all this hype is about.

Last time I checked you could adjust the Ion's trigger travel, stopping point, and magnetic tension. The stock bushy trigger is probably better than the Ion's composite, I'll give it that
Delron bolt for better cycling.
Lighter, but the Ion doesn't need as much friction resistant material because the only thing that touches the metal is the o-rings.
+/- 5/4 hpr and stock lpr.
Varies greatly between each gun. Same with the Ion.
break beam eyes.
Last time I checked, the Ion had an eye board.
more aftermarket parts that you can get.
Bushy has the least parts I've ever seen with a marker. Your limited to pretty much Vaporworks, Shootpaint, and Tantrum Paintball for purchasing stuff. Not that you really need more than those parts, but it is somewhat limited. Because Smart Parts guns are mainstream there will be tons and tons of upgrades for it (some useless, some good)
very decent eye logic
Yup... something the Ion doesn't have? I haven't chopped yet with about a case through it.
and something that doesn't look like its crap (plastic/ crap)
Purely opinion. The shell is actually very nice and protective of the internals. The gun looks much better in person than it does in pictures... I'll admit it isn't the prettiest gun out there, but it certainly isn't some POS cover on it. It takes 13 hits with a hammer to break the shell, so it's plenty strong.
And if $P is so good they can make that reg smaller.
You can always take the reg cover off... but it's actually very nice for people with big hands.
The only reason to get a bushy over an Ion are:
Uncapped board (drawback is no ramping / mode / settings changes)
LPR (Ion doesn't need one, but the Bushy comes stock with one.)
Bushy is also taller and slightly heavier than the Ion. It comes down to mainly preference... but the bushy stock is uncapped, so it has a higher ROF.

i know the +/- varies between guns but i only said that cause Travis got +/- 5 with a stock b2k3. And supposedly the b2k4 gets +/- 4 stock or says the stickies. (but those are when the marker is tuned perfectly

Another thing I don't like about the ICD guns, you need to buy a bottom line kit, That does not seem like a big deal, but it was for me, and thats why I didnt buy one.
I don't know why ICD has'nt drop there prices on the BKO and B2K. There lesser guns, for more cash. Good marketing strategy Indian Creek
