Barrel Questions for SL-68 II

What are some good recommended barrels for the SL-68 II?
What is a good length barrel?
Does it use Model 98 barrels?
Or does it use its own barrels?
How many shots can you get off with a 9oz Co2? 20oz?

Any help answering these questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)

Tippmann makes a great barrel for the SL. I would go with a 14" barrel. The SL 68 has unique barrel threads, actually it doesnt have any barrel threads, so you will have to get a barrel specifically made for the SL or buy a barrel and file down the threads so it will fit. As for the co2 question, I dont have a 9 oz or a 20 oz tank but my 12 oz gets about 600 shots. the barrel I am reffering to is Tippmanns Sniper Barrel 14", they cost about $35.

what is the bore size of the Tippmann sniper barrel?

it's because where I live, I am just able to found diablo blaze and midnight

get a 12 inch barrel over a 14. A longer barrel will not make your gun more accurate or give you better range.

Viewloader paint is the right size for the tippmann sniper barrel and you should be able to find that, goto a wally world or order off the internet, pretty cheap

Do carbine barrels have the same thread (no thread at all) as the sl-68? If so, would it be possible to use these barrels?

i dont think it would matter since theres not threading. Are are you asking if the carbine barrels have threads? Ive never shot or changed a carbines barrel so i wouldnt know.

The carbine, procarbine and prolite use threaded barrels, which are interchangeable with the F4 illustrator. So to answer your question, no, the carbine barrels will not work in the SL-68.
