anything longer than 14" in my opinion is excessive, im pretty sure its only 13" that makes a difference on accuracy and after that, it can actually have a negative effect as it slows the ball down
ive shot barrels from 18" in length to 8" in length, and the accuracy difference was not much
get 14", its the best all around

But you can push the bunkers aside with a 16 inch, playing airball, better than you can with a 12-14 inch. This allows you to play tighter=less hits to yourself.

i know, in my experiance though, 14" was just fine for that, but if you want the 16", get it, other than pushing in the bunkers though, its not going to do anything

if i where youi would go with an 14''. they shoot farther and as accurtae as a 16''. a 16'' puts more fiction on a paintball and it doesnt go as far.

The amount of distance and accuracy lost because of that extra two inchces of friction is infantesimal. If you are going to push air bunkers, a 16" is well worth it.

I have shot 14in and 16in barrels.I think that a 16in is more accurate. If you are a woodsball player i say get a 16in,If you play speedball then i would say 14in. But it is up to you.

Most people would recommend the exact opposite and say use the 16 to push airball bunkers and the 14 for woodsball. I've owned 10-16 inch barrels and prefer the 14 inch barrel. Its 2 inches, you won't see much of a difference and it is personal preference so get the length you want between 12-16 inches.

I think the 16" is a scam by barrel companies. They don't care if it work only if it sales. Need prof they would scam you GOLDEN ARCHES or Brass Eagle, View Loader(not as much).
The 14'' is most likely better. Pointer first 6-7" is speed the rest is silencer.

A lot of airballers use 14 or 16 barrels. There's really not too much a a difference in between then. They are longer than the standard 12" and make pushing bunkers aside much easier. There is no greater accuracy in either barrel. So get what feels beter or you think would feel better for your style of play.

I actually never recall any barrel companies saying that the longer the barrel the more accurate it will shoot, care to provide a link that insinuates something of that nature?
A 16 is better for pushing in bunkers, I personally find it easier to aim with a longer barrel, and frankly, it just looks much better.

a paintball leaving a barrel at 300fps will travel the exact same distance regardless of the length of whatever was used to accelerate it. be it a 5" barrel or a 20' barrel.
