Problems from the start

Bob let me down... I have a big problem, and i just opened the box. THE BARREL DOESNT FIT!!!!!!!! what the heck is witht his? i dont know if its the gun or the barrel! i am going to my pro shop in a little while to put a diff barrel on, i hope its the barrel. and i am very new to this gun as you can see, should there be some tension when i pull the cocking knob back without an air source? There is no tension what so ever and i dont know if that normal. i still love this gun and company, and will stand by them no matter what, it just sucks that i got one of the few screw ups...

There should be no tension whatsover. That is not a cocking knob, it's the pin that holds the bolt and ram together. The only force that acts on the bolt and ram is air (and friction, but forget about that) so without air, you won't feel any force or tension or movement or whatever

thanks twitch, yeah i figured that out earlier today. But still the barrel doesnt fit=(
I heard the bob long place has such great customer service. They tld me they dont have the barrel to replace it wit, that they can send me an all black on(that wont match the gun)... I have the "old 2 peice barrel that we dont make anymore." this stinks, i hope it is the barrel not the guns threading... poop

well i finally made my 45 minute drive up to my local shop and found out its the barrel. So hopefully, bob long will take back the crap barrel and give me a long shot barrel instead. I called and they said they only have black, i dont know what i am going to do. i am getting a total freak with ss back but not for a while.

Send it back. I own two and have no problems. This is one of the best guns available. There must have been a unusal problem during manufactur.

yeha it sounds like bad luck my timmy has run perfect for me, but it sucks that your barrle dosnt fit they will probaly give you a new one though

HAHA My friend had the same problem the barrel didnt fit. Look at the top thread and it doesnt stop its just like a big circle on the first thread. Everything else was fine on the barrel but the last thread was mest. I got my timmy and nothing was wrong. But a timmy is one of the best guns on the market.

i'm using the stock long shot barrel and i think it's awesome. i', gonna get a new one later...but i don't know why...cos this thing is working out just fine
