no they are made of highly durable plastic and will work(I use macro line)

Do whatever you want but I stick with my answer that I gave the last time you asked about Macroline.

I recommend not using Macro line with CO2. I've seen way to many macrolines blow and CO2 is cold. Also when the line snap it quite often hits a hand or thigh and leaves a bright shiny red painful bruise. Macroline is more likely to blow on CO2 because of the velocity spikes and the Coldness caused by the CO2 makes the line more brittle.
Thats why I only use macroline on markers running HPA.

^^ agrees to that.
If you are still using co2 you may want to stay away from macroline.

macro line will not work good with co2, if ur running co2 stay steel

what if you use co2 occasionally w/ macroline, especially when rapid firing (16+ bps)? I mean like 1 20-oz and 1 9-oz in one day (in the woods when my hpa runs out)

what if you think about this.
co2 is a liquid based propellent.
Macroline is made out of a rubber.
co2 turns cold when it is introduced as liquid into the marker.
Macroline runs from the ASA to the gun injesting the liquid first
rubber + cold liquid = freezing
frozen rubber starts to contract
contraction breaks from the macro fittings
- you have liquid co2 squirting all over the place. Since the liquid co2 is under pressure you get smacked on bare skin by the co2.
- co2 gives you frostbite on a part of your hand
- they now have to chop off your hand to prevent rotting, because you were stupid enough to think about using macroline instead of stainless steel lines when everyone told you not to.
priceless.

lmao skene...but what if I have it anti-siphoned?
also I'm only planning to use those 2 tanks, and not all the time, just when I run out if I'm either in the woods or practicing in my garage, will probably not shoot the highest ROF that I can, even though my tank will be anti-siphoned...
actually I may work on my gun tonight after work, and my hose is short so it shouldnt whip all over the place if it does burst
and I have an on/off than I could flip to shut off the air
it would just be a giant anal pain to have to change back to those hose, I'm getting the regs swapped on my hpa tanks (nitro duck--->crossfire) but I still want to test for leaks and a few other things

what if you have it anti-syphoned......
it's still co2. High rates of fire are still going to affect it the same way.
go with a steel braided line. It works with HPA/LP or co2.
If you want to try it go right ahead. You play out in the woods and if the macroline breaks while you are playing then you might of as well taken yourself out of the game instead of enjoying hunting your friends down.
I use HPA and co2 as well depending on the situation. I don't run macroline because I dont know what I will be using or will have available at the field(s) or areas I play at, depending on game play.
Sure you have an on/off but think about it. Have you ever seen a fireman's water hose go crazy if they let go of it?
that's what will happen with the macroline when under pressure. If you're quick enough to shut off your on/off valve then maybe you'll have something cut out for you. But then again prepare to carry plenty of yards of macroline when it does break on you.

It is just one of those thing that you really can't appreciate until you have seen it happen or have it happen to you. I have friends that still use Macroline and CO2 but it really isn't smart.

MACROLINE ONLY BLOWS IF ITS OLD ITS RATED FOR 3000PSI SO U DON'T WHAT YUR TLAKING ABOUT...I RUN MY COCKER OFF STRIGHT CO2 (STUPID I KNOW)......macroline never blew out on me...........just use it....don't use microline but use macroline

You are the one who does not know what they are talking about. The problem with freezing and reheating anything it that it causes premature aging and cracking. Each time you're macroline is used with CO2 you are causing it to wear much faster then with HPA. Also when the line is cold it is much more brittle then normal which can cause it to snap if you bump it during play. The velocity spikes from CO2 also cause more wear and tear on the line then what you would get with HPA. I've used Macroline, Microline and Steel Braided and the only one that I will ever use with CO2 is the Steel Braided.
Like I said before, some of my friends also run their Markers with macroline and CO2, but then again I've never claimed they were smart. Also, FYI when you post in all caps it makes you look immature and less intelligent. Besides, you have only owned your cocker since the end of November, basically 4 months. You will blow a line, it is just a matter of time.
Also the 3000 psi you are referring to is the burst pressure not the recommended operating pressure. Most Macroline has an operating pressure of 500-1000 psi and CO2 can and will spike above 1000.

i wish they made some kind of macroline that was made out of steel braided or something, so you can put it into the macroline fittings...cuz now if i want to play in the woods I will have to remove the macroline fittings, and put in 90* elbows and steel braided hose
not to mention I will proabably have to wrap the steel braided hose in electrical tape, because the main reason I have macroline is because I switch my setup constantly, depending on the style of play...I have one of those psycho ballistics z-drops, so sometimes i want the tank angled endo drop-style, and others i want it like a regular drop forward (co2 tank or just dont want it endo'd)
I guess I may just put it steel braided when I play in the woods...haven't yet but am planning to get together more friends and get them to buy their own markers once they decide the sport is for them, so we can play in the woods
I may end up getting a scuba tank if we end up playing in the woods alot and the steel braided becomes a nuissance to change into from when I'm playing at my local paintball field.

If they wanted macroline to be steel braided..... they just use steel braid.
If you have a Psy-Ball Z drop, why dont you just get yourself a braided line long enough so that you can adjust your drop accordingly. the braided lines will give you enough flexibility to adjust.
If you really think about it. How many shots do you usually do during a game play in the woods? Unless you are shooting over 400+ balls you wouldn't really need to go with co2. You can play with the HPA, unless of course you were using it unregulated where your consistancy is all over the place making the gun less efficient.
Well whatever the case may be. Say no to co2!

ya that's true, I have a palmer's stabilizer and can get the marker to run around 650psi @ 260 fps (my field's limit) and have it still recock...havent played in a game w/ it though, only screwed around in my garage...i'll do some further testing
I dunno, I was just contemplating bringing co2 cuz it would suck badly if I ran out of air...I may just buy a long steel braided hose, and wrap it in electrical tape so when I know I'm going to play in the woods, I'll put that on the night before. also would be a good backup if I run out of macroline (I dont have a whole lot at the moment but I do have 5 feet of it coming in the mail)
