Alright, so you have a good ol' Tippy 98 or 98 Custom, and have upgraded the barrel, gotten nitro, and maybe picked up a dropforward or sealed cocking system. BUT YOU'RE STILL SHOOTING 5 BPS OR LESS! Solution: simply buy a Psycho Ballistics 2x Trigger and Guard, or any other Tippy double trigger. That just increased your firepower up to 4 BPS, so now you are shooting around 8-9 BPS. WHAT, THAT'S STILL NOT ENOUGH?! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!?!?!?! Well, this should take you approximately 1 minute to do: Unscrew the reciever halves and all that good stuff as if you were about to clean and oil the marker. Lift the half of the 'gun off just about an inch off the other half. Reach some tweezers or your little pudgy finger in there and pull out the trigger spring. Snap the 'gun back together, and presto! INSTANT 11-12 BPS (with a good trigger finger of course)!!!!!! Please note, nothing bad can happen to your marker from this, and if you don't like it, simply pop the trigger spring back into place! Oh yeah, one more thing: the only reason why I told you to only lift the half up an inch is because that way you needn't take the whole 'gun apart, which saves YOU time (also, I have DYE Stickies, so if I do it the way I told you guys to do it, I save myself the headache of putting the Stickies ALL THE WAY back on). Please respond if you liked my simple trigger mod, or even if you didn't: I'm an equal opportunity kinda guy. LOL:laugh:

This really works? What is the point of the spring then?

To be honest with you, I don't really know. Maybe it's because most people wouldn't like buying a marker with a loose trigger (which taking out the trigger spring does).

The sear would push the trigger back inplace then right? I am gonna try it soon as I get some more Co2.

Exactly. If you want, you can see it without Co2. Just take it out, and cock the 'gun, then dry-fire it. You should be able to tell what the trigger pull will be like.

The spring pushes the trigger back into place for firing. I put in a pen spring as my trigger spring once. It wasnt fun when it arced up (it was too long). I could shoot about 1 BPS, and sometimes not at all. I would have to hit my gun to reset the trigger, and a ball would fire. The trigger will fire, and won't reset itself, so you can't fire again until you manually push the trigger forward. I doubt this will work, I'll try it later/tomorow.

Okay guys, I'm not just saying this as a "maybe" thing. I HAVE DONE THIS TO MY 98 CUSTOM! And yes Creeper, it will work, very, very well.

NOTHING bad happened. No internals freezing, no broken balls! Of course, I have a revvy, but that's mandatory for this mod.

he is telling the truth, but you do need a dbl trigger. I don't have a dbl trigger, and it would help. rof increase is huge!

ya, i would get a revy or whatever cause if not i garauntee you will be chopping. IMO Sticky Grips are really nice and come in alot of colors to match your gun, i dont really like the stock grips

Yeah, you would need a Revvy or Ric 2K, or something along those lines. Even without this mod, you need a 12-volt (notice I said 12-V0LT, not 9-Volt; the 9's a waste of money). And, yeah, IMHO the Stickies are awesome, and look cool in clear on a 98 Custom. I have them on my 98 Custom, so why shouldn't you? :P
